  3. Well, here are two questions I'm not sure I can answer! Aneesa, I think that they only took the number of kids they were pretty sure they could find homes for. They'd have written back and forth to the local sponsoring groups before they left New York, so she'd have found a home somewhere. But maybe not a good one. And Sabrina, my favorite is probably the last one, because I like to know where everyone ends up -- so I can start thinking about a new story! (But this chapter has my favorite picture -- Christopher really makes her look lonesome, sitting by herself there. It's sad, but it's a really good picture.)

  4. I was wondering if you had any thoughts about becoming a big author. The one that makes books and novels. It seems like you like to write so why not a book, right?

  6. Nathan, I'd love to have one of my stories turned into a book! I guess we'll see! And Derek, yes, it would be very discouraging. Fortunately, I think things came out well for her, but how sad to sit alone on the train not knowing what was going to happen next. (That's why I like the picture so much.)
